Those of us who are rightly paranoid about EOS being effectively malware (seriously Epic uses its anticheat and launcher to spy on your entire PC, including personal files that gaming apps have no bloody right to poke around in, instead of just blocking memory cheats like any non-malware anticheat would do) can't play TWWH3 at all, without risking letting Epic have more or less kernel level access to our PC (which given their 40% ownership by Tencent is incredibly worrying).Īt least Daemonhunters only has Denuvo, which while annoying isn't ANYWHERE near as obviously malicious as Epic Online Services. Honestly though TWWH3 is the more problematic of the two as it also has Epic Online Services as mandatory to play Immortal Empires and/or anything other than the base game content.

No i check more than a few places with a bit more info that a google search, mainly the crack watch replacement website and some of the other crack watch forums, truth is while people might complain about DRM it does not seem to meaningfully change sales, nor do i think have DRM does either but it harder to prove that Anyone who's oldskool will think twice as hard about a DRM game due to its obnoxious permissions, poor optimization and morale ambiguity.
